I work closely with my consulting clients to deliver concrete results, leveraging my extensive corporate leadership experience. This might include clarifying the vision, strategic scenario planning, focusing the core strategy, scenario planning key implementation stages, developing a tactical plan that lays out how goals will become reality or taking on a fractional Operations Director/COO role.

By working through the links of the chain in detail, my clients can maximize their chances of bringing their strategic vision to life. My role is to guide and challenge them through this process and help them stay on track, so they can achieve their desired outcomes.

Projects take shape in the scope of an Engagement Letter that we agree following an introductory conversation and a deeper dive into the best way forward. Among the scheduling options are: certain days/week over a period; a period full time followed by retainer days/month; or fractional Operations Director/COO for certain days/month.

About me

After an itinerant childhood in Asia, Europe and Africa, I worked in Hong Kong, Thailand and Singapore before settling in the UK in 2000. 

​

My 28 year career has included 20 years in leadership roles as Operations Director then European Regional Director in start ups and a scale up (in PropTech, Fintech and broader financial services), a change management role in shipping and various project management roles in construction. I’ve run a multimillion pound turnover business day to day, with direct responsibility for finance, HR, legal, regulatory compliance, office management and internal IT support. I shared responsibility with the CEO for strategy and compensation, and was deeply involved in commercialisation. I’ve also built most of these areas from scratch.

​

Having formalised my many years of inhouse coaching/mentoring as an Executive Coach, I work with a range of clients in diverse situations – either through their company or as individuals – and I concentrate on supporting the development of my clients’ personal agency in the service of their goals. Life moves fast and I provide clients the time, perspective and safe space they need for this work. Separately, I also have trained in Integrative psychotherapy, so my practice is informed by psychological insights.

Most of the electricity used at my premises (including hot water) is generated on-site by solar panels, with generation/demand smoothed by batteries. Heating is provided by an air source heat pump. We make full use of recycling opportunities (collection and the local dump) and work to reuse where possible. Where possible we buy recycled, fair trade, community-focused, environmentally friendly and local options - and we only boil as much water as we need for each cup!

 

Social

I aim to always be coaching at least one young individual pro bono. My intention is to help young people make the most of their situations and opportunities as they enter the workplace, in their early professional lives or as they start a business .

I am Academy of Executive Coaching (AoEC) Accredited Executive Coach and in my coaching practice I adhere to the AoEC Code of Practice.
